100% Beef Burgers This is a very simple recipe for hamburgers best cooked on a grill or in an iron skillet.

[edit] Ingredients

  • 250g Ground Beef per person
  • Salt
  • Black Pepper - freshly ground
  • 2 Tbsp Worcestershire sauce

[edit] Utensils

  • 1 plate
  • iron skillet or BBQ
  • spatula

[edit] Preparation

  1. Mix ground beef, salt, pepper and worcestershire sauce. Knead mixture and place in fridge for at least 1 hour.
  2. Remove from fridge and form one 3cm thick burger for each 250g of meat, compressing the meat together as you form the patty (so requires no binder)

[edit] Cooking

  1. If using iron skillet, turn heat on high, salt the bottom of the pan (use no oil!) and cook until desired done the way you like.

[edit] Trimmings

  • Serve with Ketchup, Mustard, Mayo, tomatoe slices, lettuce, french fries, jalapeno slices, branston pickles, cheddar cheese, emmethaler cheese or whatever else you like!
