This Wiki serves as a free collection of cooking and baking recipes, to which anyone can contribute their favourite recipes easily and without log in, although it is recommended, that you create an account and log in. Help is available here or in the navigation menu on the left. The first Help page describes the most important functions. Recipes-Wiki already has 5 Recipes and is growing constantly.

Plum cake is a traditional cake from Westfalia (Germany) baked in an oven tray. Instead of using a yeast dough, which is customary for this type of cake in Germany, my grandmother used a dough with self raising flour (flour + baking powder). The authors mother brought this recipe to Australia, where he grew up. This juicy plum cake is delicious with Whipped cream.

This is a multi-language Wiki having direct links to the german sister site rezeptewiki.org. The main page and translated recipes will have a menu box in other languages with a link to Deutsch.

To identify your contribution in a discussion, it makes sense to sign your contribution by typing four tilde symbols (~~~~).

This can also be achieved by pressing the "Your signature with timestamp" button at the top of the edit window.

On saving the discussion entry, the tildes will be replaced by your signature and timestamp.
