This Wiki can also be run with the keyboard. So called accelerator keys are allocated to certain functions. If an accelerator is available, the allocated keyboard combination is shown in the tooltip of that function when holding the mouse on a menu entry, button or register. The tooltip display adjusts itself to the current browser and may be faulty, if the browser is unknown or the ID of the browser has been altered by a user adjustment.

The keys which must be pressed together with the accelerator keys is also dependent on the browser, although it is primarily dependent on the underlying operating system. Tips

An effect of some accelerator keys may be, that familiar functions of the browser are broken. e.g. <alt>+<f> for favorites. This can be circumvented, by pressing the keys sequentially.

The Opera browser can be switched to Accelerator Key Mode (and back) with the <shift>+<esc> key combination.
