Remembrance Strawberry PieThis is a very simple and easy recipe for strawberry pie. It can be made in the morning and served in the evening.

- 1 cup sugar
- 3 tablespoons cornstarch
- 1 cup water
- 3 tablespoons strawberry jello powder
- 1 quart strawberries (stemmed and halved/quartered)
- 1 baked pie shell

- 1 2-quart saucepan
- 1 medium/large bowl
- 1 large spoon

1. Prepare strawberries and put in bowl
2. Prebake pie shell
3. Mix sugar, cornstarch, and water in saucepan
4. Heat mixture over high heat until thickened, stirring constantly
5. Remove from heat
6. Stir in jello until dissolved
7. Pour over strawberries and mix well
8. Pour mixture into pie shell and spread out
9. Refrigerate until set (at least 4 to 5 hours)
10.Serve plain, with whipped topping or ice cream
